This is pursued through setting up community libraries equipped with newsletters, journals, informative books on relevant topics such as reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, agriculture, Novels etc. FIYO does this to for communities to have acess to reading books without walking long distances, currently FIYO has 4 community libraries.

FIYO also organizes reading and writing events to promote the culture of reading among students at an early age.
